To connect to Stripe you should first have admin access to your Stripe account. If you don't have admin access create a new user in the Organization settings for the person with this access.

  1. Select the Integrations menu at the top of the screen and click the 'Stripe Option'

2. Click the 'Connect Stripe' button on the top right corner of the screen

3. You will be transferred to the Stripe marketplace.

When connecting, you may see a message from Stripe noting that this is a 'test version' or 'unreviewed app.' Don't worry—this is a standard Stripe notification. It simply means you are connecting via a direct integration link rather than through the public Stripe App Marketplace. We use this method to ensure you have the most up-to-date features and direct support.

Your security remains our priority. Even in this mode:

  • Stripe handles all sensitive data: We never see or store your login credentials or full credit card details.

  • Restricted Access: The connection only grants us the specific permissions necessary to sync the stripe transaction to Defrr, which you can revoke at any time from your Stripe Dashboard.

By accepting the invite to the 'test version,' you are helping us maintain a high-performance connection tailored specifically for our users. This allows us to bypass the slower update cycles of the general marketplace and provide you with faster bug fixes and improvements.

Click the 'Continue' button at the bottom right.

4. You will then need to click the account you want to connect to in the 'Select an account' section. This will be the Stripe account for YOUR company.

5. The Stripe marketplace will then display the types of information that Defrr will have access to. Note that we are only requesting 'Read-only' access.

Click the 'Install app' button on the bottom right.

6. Stripe will confirm the install is successful

...then redirect you back to the Defrr integration page.

The status will show as Connected.
