Initial Setup Steps

Selected a subscription plan from the 'Pricing' page of the Defrr website. You will be transferred to a Stripe hosted payment page.

(note: if you are on the free plan or a 30-day trial you still need to enter your credit card details to create a subscription but will not be charged).

After you have added your credit card details you can progress to the Setup setting.

There are 5 basic setup steps.

  • Step 1

Enter your name and your organization details.

  • Step 2

Add your product names & SKU. In the example below we have created a product for the 'Starter Plan'.

note: it is very important you create a unique SKU for each product.

  • Step 3

Add your cohorts. Cohorts are a way to classify your customers and allow you to gain a different perspective of revenue movements through your reports.

In the example below we have entered cohorts for Dental & Optometry.

  • Step 4 (Knowledge Step)

Gain an understanding of how to add contracts. Watch the videos on how to add contracts using AI, manually yourself, or by uploading a CSV.

Of course, you can also add contracts by Integrating with your CRM (i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce) or Payments provider (Stripe). This is covered in the next step.

  • Step 5 (Knowledge Step)

Learn how to integrate with your CRM (i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce) or Payments provider (Stripe).

Once you have done all 5 steps, click the 'Complete Setup' button. You can now celebrate - you had a good understanding of how to use Defrr!
